Chlora is part of my 2021 Forms of Nature/Eucalyptus Series and was inspired by the shapes of the two eucalyptus species - Cinerea/Silver Dollar and True Blue. My goal was to create a fluid and active abstract painting inspired by their organic shapes. The colors are green and black on a white background.
This high quality giclee lithograph is a limited edition of 25, signed and numbered. The lithograph is printed using using archival inks on Hahnemuhle German Etching paper. The paper size is 18" x 24" and the image size is 15.5" x 22" , providing an approximately one inch border on all sides that makes it easy to frame with or without a mat in a standard 18" x 24' frame.
Note the background color of this painting is pure white, not shaded.
