What is more evocative? What is seen or what is unseen? I am investigating the unseen in this painting. Beginning with a drawing of snake plant leaves, this painting transformed over time to be more impressionistic and evocative as well as rich in depth and layers.

My current series involves mapping the dynamic relationship between sight and sound, inspired by the rhythms of classic jazz. I use colors as instruments, exploring and responding to the materiality of acrylic paint.
