Flourescence (2024) is a dramatic 40" x 30" acrylic on canvas painting featuring a hot pink vase and an abstract bouquet of flowers.  My intention was to bring maximum color in delibrate contrast to the gloomy state of the world, creating a painting of joy and hope. I worked from a real bouquet until my intuitive painting process including brushwork and monoprinting took over. 
It is stretched on a wooden stretcher and ready to hang!
