Field Grown was painted in 2023 with acrylic paint on canvas.  Although I  right handed, I used both my right hand and my left hand while painting in order to achieve more dynamic lines and shapes. Initially I worked from a photo of a field with some wild flowers behind a house we rented this summer near Woodstock. The painting is on unstretched canvas and would be shipped rolled. It can be easily stretched by your local frame shop. If you would like me to stretch it, please let me know (additional charges for the stretcher, stretching and shipping will apply).
