Germinal (2024) is an explosive abstract painting with many layers of texture.  The contrast between the germinating shapes and the gentle colors makes for a dynamic painting.
Loosely inspired by natural plant like and flower forms, it was painted with acrylic paints on canvas. I also painted different sizes of bubble wrap and pressed the bubbles onto the canvas for the circular shapes.
The painting can be hung vertically or horizontally depending on your preference. I like the painting both ways! It will be shipped rolled in a tube and can easily be stretched and framed by your local framer.
