Construction was painted in 2019 with acrylic paints on a gallery wrapped (white edges) canvas. It was inspired by all the construction sites I see on my daily walks around New York City. The angles of the steel girders and pavement sheds create interesting lines and shapes that utilized to create an abstract painting.
